Study Abroad Program in Krakow, Poland
TRAVEL TO KRAKOW - EXPLORE EUROPE
College of Engineering at SDSU offers several Study Abroad Programs. One of them is Summer Semester in Krakow, Poland. It was initiated in 2007 by Dr. Supernak, and has had six very successful editions - the last one was in June-July 2012. Currently, Dr. Supernak is recruiting Engineering students for the Summer Semester 2013. Typically, students visit several countries in Europe while participating in the Krakow program: it is because of the close proximity of several "must-see" cities like Vienna, Prague, Budapest, or Berlin. Very inexpensive flights connect Krakow with several other destinations: London, Amsterdam or Rome. One of the students visited 17 (!) countries - the more typical number is 5-10. Krakow itself is a 1,000-year-old cultural capital of Poland and a vibrant academic center, home to 150,000 students. There is so much to see and explore in Krakow! The impressions of the program are uniformly very positive.
